Amanjena, Marrakech is Africa's first Amanresort. Its location some 7 kilometres outside Marrakech offers a uniquely calm environment away from the mad bustle of the city. A 60 metre square bassin shimmers at the centre of the resort. From here the 34 enormous, sumptuously furnished pavilions and 6 two storey maisons fan out in two directions, separated by reflecting pools in a landscape of lawns and vines, fountains and glittering hand-cut tiles.
