Château de Gilly used to be the residence of Cistercian monks between the 13th and 17th Centuries. The cuisine and the wines (with a 15,000 bottle cellar) are a gastronomic experience never to be forgotten – a worthy tribute to the Burgundian culture.

The estate comprises several historic buildings, including the stone-vaulted cellar, now the restaurant, and linked by a tunnel to the château. The guest rooms are decorative with detailed woodwork, fireplaces and French ceilings.

The cuisine has to be flavoursome and sophisticated, accompanied by an excellent wine menu.
